Welcoming mochi based donuts, the hottest new food trend of 2019 to The Gateway.

Mochi donuts are made with naturally gluten-free glutinous rice flour and tapioca starch instead of traditional white wheat-based flours — the result is a chewy donut versus a cakey or heavy battered donut. The donuts are made up of eight connected balls which are called Pon De Ring donuts in Japan. Glazed with delicious flavors, Momi will offer original specialty glazes including, strawberry, cookies and creme, and seasonal flavors. This will be the first mochi donut bakery in Utah.
